Synopsis
OMIGOD, YOU GUYS! Perennially perky Elle Woods is a girl who loves to be pampered and shop for the latest all-pink outfits (and matching handbags, of course). But don’t let this seemingly ditzy fashionista fool you — this sorority sister is smarter than she seems and doesn’t take “no” for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone “more serious,” Elle sets out to win him back by putting down the credit card and hitting the books. Ready to revamp her image, Elle goes where no Delta Nu sorority girl has gone before: Harvard Law School! Along the way, our heroine proves that being yourself and going after what you want never goes out of style.

Available Main Roles (in order of appearance):
- MARGOT — (Soprano Belt) early 20’s. Elle’s Delta Nu sister, a pretty and funny California sorority girl.
- SERENA — (Soprano Belt) early 20’s. Elle’s Delta Nu sister, a spirited and sassy California sorority girl.
- PILAR — (Soprano Belt) early 20’s. Elle’s Delta Nu sister, a bossy and feisty California sorority girl.
- ELLE WOODS — (Soprano Belt) early 20’s, a pretty, perky, sorority queen whose shallow, entitled exterior covers a sharp, intelligent, purposeful interior. Must sing and move well with great comic instincts.
- WARNER HUNTINGTON III — (Tenor) 20-30. A good-looking but pompous guy who breaks Elle’s heart. The dumbest smartest guy!
- EMMETT FORREST –- (Tenor) 20-30. A smart and sensitive law student who takes Elle under his wing. His charm overshadows his understated good looks. A little “nerdy.”
- ENID HOOPES –- (Soprano Belt) 20-30. A brash, outspoken and intellectual law student.
- VIVIENNE KENSINGTON — (Huge Soprano Belt) 20-30. Exact opposite of Elle. A smart and savvy law student who initially dismisses Elle but grows to be her friend.
- PROFESSOR CALLAHAN — (Baritone) 35-50. A pompous and manipulative Harvard law professor, a total “shark.”
- PAULETTE BONAFONTE — (Soprano/Alto Belt) 30’s/early 40’s. A warm, funny hairdresser/manicurist. Working class, attractive, and a bit insecure. Good comic ability.
- BROOKE WYNDAM — (Alto or Soprano) 25-35. An exercise video star and former sorority girl who is on trial for murder. Has a great, firm physique. A tough exterior but a heart of gold.
- ENSEMBLE – Looking for very strong male and female performers who can sing, dance, and have a great time. They will very busy covering many roles throughout the show and should be able to jump rope and sing. Gymnastics experience is a plus.
AGE REQUIREMENT INFORMATION: In order to be cast in Legally Blonde: The Musical, actors must be able to convincingly portray college/law students.
